About Abby Maci

Abby’s path to publicity began at Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts, where she studied journalism, public relations and visual art. Graphic/web design was her career of choice post-graduation, but words won out in the end and now she finds herself happily seated as a social media publicist at Author Solutions. As it turns out, web design and social media go together quite nicely, and Abby has enjoyed incorporating her knowledge of SEO and web development to maker her authors’ blogs the best they can be. An entrepreneur at heart, Abby’s favorite part of her job is helping authors achieve their goals and realize their dreams. She’s also thrilled to be in a line of work that never gets stale and allows her to learn something new every day. Somewhat extracurricularly schizophrenic, Abby’s weekend activities include vintage and antiques hunting, watching every kind of sports, re-purposing furniture, baking cookies, and catching up on her long list of favorite cable shows – especially Mad Men, obviously.
